Harness the advances and possibilities of leading-edge technology with your insights and vision. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a key role in using technology to analyse video and audio to empower surveillance to work more intelligently across numerous public service applications.

What you can expect to be doing

• Design, plan and conceptualise cutting-edge video analytics, audio analytics or other sensor analytics-based solutions

• Develop and prototype state-of-the-art video analytics, audio analytics or other sensory analytics algorithms to determine their deployment capabilities

• Assess and trial co-developed or commercial solutions to assess, customise, validate and enhance their performance in an operational environment

• Advise and provide consultation on prospective and/or current video analytics, audio analytics or other sensory analytics requirements

• Relevant qualifications in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative/ analytical fields

• Strong passion for science and tech

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Positive attitude for working in a team-oriented and dynamic environment

• Strong understanding in one or more of the following areas:

  • Machine Learning and Artificial intelligence

  • Computer Vision and Video Analytics

  • Strong proficiency in Web UI development frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS (required)

  • Experience in development of RESTful API (required)

  • Experience in database scripting languages as such as SQL (required)

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++ as well as libraries such as Tensorflow, PyTorch and OpenCV are preferred
