What you can expect to be doing:

Conceptualise and develop advanced Web and mobile-based applications leveraging on geospatial technologies and artificial intelligence (AI)

Be involved in application software development based on agile methodology

Conduct research and experimentation of geospatial technologies in collaboration with agencies and research partners

Develop Geospatial Information System (GIS) strategic plans and establish project objectives and deliverables
-
Integrate common AI frameworks and geospatial data pipeline to improve GeoAI operations
-
Create solutions by driving geospatial capacity building efforts for Singapore
-
Apply innovative geospatial solutions and use locational data to address real-world challenges
-
Empower with geo-knowledge by promoting geospatial awareness and exploring the applications of geospatial data

Equip the public and general workforce with geospatial competencies to improve the productivity of our nation
-
Influence decision-making and support service delivery by providing geospatial information and analytics to various stakeholders
-
Build a community by advocating public-private partnerships in the geospatial industry

Bolster innovation in the ecosystem through working with geospatial companies, organise geo-challenges, networking events and more
Join us if you have:
-
Background preferably in the areas of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geospatial Science/Technology or equivalent
-
Industry experience working on Web and mobile application development
-
Experience in web GIS technology (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, WebGL, JSON, REST API, etc)
-
Knowledge in geospatial data management and analytics (2D and 3D) will be an added advantage
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team
